Estadio La Peineta, also known as Estadio de la Comunidad, is a stadium in Madrid, Spain. It is currently used for athletics events, but it will soon be expanded for the football club Atlético Madrid. Currently the stadium has a capacity of 20,000 spectators, but a reconstruction for Atletico's move will expand the stadium to 67,500 spectators [2]. The stadium will replace Vicente Calderón Stadium as the home of Atlético in the summer of 2015.
Basque separatist group ETA bombed the stadium in June 2005.[3]
